The 45th Annual Lincoln City Fall Kite Festival begins with a special lighted night fly on Friday, September 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the D River State Recreation Area, featuring illuminated creations by Alaska’s Tim Sorenson. The festivities continue on September 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with colorful kite displays, local food and apparel vendors, community games, and family-friendly activities along the Oregon coast.
